- Looking at value traded, Canada claimed the majority at 51.2%, with the US at 48.8%.
- The US OTC market traded 5.69% of the total value in single-listed Canadian securities, down 144 bps m/m.
- Average daily volume jumped 16.06% m/m (+8.17% y/y), to 1.27 billion shares.
- Dark-pool market share fell 24 bps m/m (+106 bps y/y) to 7.56%.
- Hidden orders on lit markets executed 5.25% of Canadian volume in August, down 51 bps from July.
