- Of this total, 630.2 million (+9.32% m/m) traded in the US and 371.4 million (+3.46% m/m) in Canada, for a US-CAD split of 62.9%-37.1%.
- Looking at value traded, the gap is far narrower, at 50.8%-49.2%.
- The US OTC market traded 5.71% of the total value in single-listed Canadian securities, up 128 bps m/m.
- Average daily volume dipped 1.66% m/m (+15.94% y/y), to 1.39 billion shares.
- Dark-pool market share increased 29 bps m/m (+83 bps y/y) to 7.37%.
- Hidden orders on lit markets executed 5.35% of Canadian volume in June, up 7 bps from May.
