• Of this total, 434.9 million (+3.79% m/m) traded in the US and 272.1 million (+29.47% m/m) in Canada, for a US-CAD split of 61.5%-38.5%, compared with 65.6%-34.4% in July.
• The US OTC market traded 2.84% of the total value in single-listed Canadian securities, up 20 bps m/m.
• Market-wide Canadian ADV (including single-listed names) rose 12.86% m/m (+16.87% y/y), to 923.1 million shares.
• Dark-pool market share rose 28 bps m/m (+72 bps y/y) in August, to 6.16%.
• Hidden orders on lit markets executed 4.32% of Canadian volume in August, down 14 bps from August.
