• The 231 equities listed in both Canada and the US had average daily volume across both countries of 757.4 million shares in February (-0.08% m/m).
• Of this total, 422.9 million (-2.71% m/m) traded in the US and 334.4 million (+3.47% m/m) in Canada, for a US-CAD split of 55.8%-44.2%, compared with 57.3%-42.7% in January.
• The US OTC market traded 2.37% of the total value in single-listed Canadian securities, down 46 bps m/m.
• Market-wide Canadian ADV (including single-listed names) fell 3.63% m/m (-56.93% y/y), to 1.24 billion shares.
• Dark-pool market share declined 17 bps m/m (+49 bps y/y) in February, to 4.47%.
