DUTIES:

• Develop solutions to generate client reports and back-office reports.

• Model, simulate and benchmark solutions with the objective of maximizing systems performance under both heavy transactional and market data loads.

• Code, integrate and unit test new applications and new features for existing applications.

• Provide real time support to the trading desk, in a low latency, high volume trading environment.

• Support the business continuity process of identifying, evaluating and solving potential risks to the organizations IT systems by ensuring all critical components are maintained and properly resourced.

• Coordinate with remote teams to ensure efficient resource management and ensure smooth operations of automated tasks.

• Provide analytical insights via reports and curated data for Business Units

• Coordinate with vendors for efficient workflow between systems and stakeholders

• Design and develop scalable web applications using React, MySQL, Python, Perl, HTML, JavaScript and CSS.

• Deploying code on the cloud servers and peer code review

• Evaluate various LLMs and design and develop models for different business units

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Data Science or related field followed by 5 years of progressively responsible professional experience developing solutions for data analytics OR Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Data Science or related field and 3 years of experience developing solutions and applications for market data analytics and handling large data sets.

Experience must include:

• 3 years of experience Coding, integrating and unit testing new applications and new features for existing applications.

• 2 years of experience analyzing large amounts of data in an efficient manner.

• 2 years of experience with Cloud Computing and Web Services

• 2 years of experience coordinating across time zones with remote teams

• 2 years of experience with peer code review before pushing to production

Qualified candidate must possess experience in or demonstrated knowledge of:

• C++, MySQL, Perl, Python, Javascript, React, Web Programming, Shell Scripting, Open source Technologies including Mojolicious and/or ActiveMQ

• Advanced statistical methods, pattern recognition, outlier detections algorithms and building predictive models

• Supporting low latency, high volume systems

• Investigating and resolving high pressure, live data quality/technical issues

• Developing quantitative analytic tools and handle big data for market research

• Modulating, simulating and benchmarking solutions to maximize performance of trading desk and high volume market data applications

• Working with protocols using APIs.

• BI Tools like Alteryx, Tableau

SALARY: $152,000 to $170,000 per year

TELEWORK: Hybrid position; part time telecommuting authorized
