Job Description:
The Operations & Sales Associate position is an entry-level, middle office role supporting institutional trading and sales operations and acting as a liaison between clients, sales, traders, clearing firms, exchanges, counterparties, and third-party vendors. The role is primarily focused on post-trade support, trade allocations, settlement coordination, improving operational organization and workflow efficiency, and ensuring smooth end of day processing across the trade lifecycle. The position is based at our 40 Wall Street NYC headquarters.

Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of the trade lifecycle and develop proficiency across clearing, custodial, and proprietary platforms
- Book and confirm end-of-day trade allocations accurately across multiple platforms
- Monitor and ensure proper trade settlement, resolve breaks and fails in a timely manner, and identify and mitigate regulatory and settlement risks
- Coordinate daily with traders, clients, sales, prime brokers, and vendors on trade processing, settlement activity, and break resolution
- Onboard new clients and manage account setup and platform configuration for floor and desk trading
- Liaise with Sales Support and Sales for corporate access, CRM data management, research distribution and triage and general ad hoc administrative duties
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Strong grasp of equity markets and the trade lifecycle, or demonstrated eagerness to develop it
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to investigate, escalate, and resolve issues quickly in a high pressure, low latency trading environment
- Proficient in Excel including advanced functions, macros, and VBA; experience with AI tools or coding a plus
- Strong communicator with a client-focused mindset and clear sense of urgency
- Comfortable implementing technical solutions to improve and automate operational workflows
- Willing to obtain securities licenses (SIE, Series 7, Series 63) within first year of employment
