  • Equity ADV dropped 8.83% m/m (+6.17% y/y), to 10.96 billion.
  • The top 20 most-active equities accounted for 11.48% (-100 bps m/m) of volume and 23.73% (+315 bps m/m) of value traded, with off-exchange market share of 50.59% (+275 bps m/m).
  • Off-exchange venues (+68 bps m/m) and NYSE Arca (+61 bps m/m) gained the most equity market share; NYSE (-93 bps m/m) lost the most.

  • Equity-options ADV slid 2.51% m/m (+15.01% y/y) to 42.0 million contracts.
  • BOX (+57 bps m/m) gained the most equity options market share; NYSE Arca (-29 bps) lost the most.
  • Index-options ADV climbed 7.07% m/m (+24.36% y/y), to 4.40 million.
