Biography
MariaSalamanca Mejia is an Executive Director in Morgan Stanley’s InstitutionalEquities Division. Maria joined the firm in 2021 and is based in London whereshe looks after Morgan Stanley’s EMEA Market Structure practice. Prior to joiningMorgan Staley, Maria held Market Structure positions in other organisations.She represents the EMEA equities business in a range of trade associations, includingas Chair of the AFME Securities Trading Committee and is also a member of the PlatoPartnership Advisory Committee, amongst other industry groups. Maria graduatedfrom Imperial College, London with an MSc in Management.
