Prior to joining Lightmatter, Simona spent over 20 years at NVIDIA and Goldman Sachs. Her expertise spans financial analysis and forecasting, investment research, capital markets, technology strategy and investor relations, with her experience focused on the semiconductor, hardware and networking industries.
From 2017 to 2024, Simona served as Vice President of investor relations and strategic finance at NVIDIA, during a period of unprecedented growth. She led a high-performing team that supported the significant expansion in the institutional investor base and multiple strategic and business development initiatives.
Previously, Simona was Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, where she served as an award-winning technology investment analyst from 2001 to 2017, covering the Semiconductor, Hardware and Communications Technology sectors. She earned numerous recognitions including by Institutional Investor, The Wall Street Journal, Thomson Reuters, and the Financial Times, and was the lead analyst for multiple IPOs.
Simona earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a J.D. from Stanford Law School; she is a CFA® charterholder.
