Mr. Khaykin joined VIAVI in February 2016 as President and Chief Executive Officer.
Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Khaykin was a Senior Advisor with Silver Lake Partners from February 2015 to February 2016.
Before that, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of International Rectifier from 2008 until its acquisition by Infineon AG in January of 2015.
He has also served as Chief Operating Officer of Amkor Technology and Vice President of Strategy & Business Development at Conexant Systems.
Earlier in his career he spent eight years with The Boston Consulting Group and prior to that, he was an engineer at Motorola, Inc.
Mr. Khaykin is currently a member of the Board of Directors. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Avnet, Inc. where he serves on the Audit and Corporate Governance committees.
