Biography

Kevin Rubin is the chief financial officer (CFO) of Alteryx, responsible for all aspects of its global financial operations, including finance, accounting, tax, treasury, investor relations, corporate development and Alteryx Ventures, and global real estate and workplace services. Kevin brings 20+ years of experience in the industry, leading both public and private technology companies through rapid growth and expansion.

Before joining Alteryx, Kevin was CFO of MSC Software, a private equity-backed software company. Kevin was responsible for managing MSC through significant transitions, including launching and navigating the company’s shift to a subscription-based model. Kevin also led the transformation of financial and business operations to support MSC’s growth as well as strategic activities including debt and recapitalizations transactions, and mergers and acquisitions.

Kevin previously served as CFO for Pictage, a venture-backed software company; DataDirect Networks, a data storage equipment provider; and MRV Communications, a publicly traded telecommunications equipment provider. Kevin started his career at Arthur Andersen as a member of its Technology Practice working with a broad range of small, privately held companies to large, publicly traded organizations. Kevin currently serves on the board of directors of Forum for Corporate Directors (FCD) and Pretend City.

Kevin is a certified public accountant (inactive) in California and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in business economics with an emphasis in accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
