Mazy is CEO of OpenFin, the operating system of enterprise productivity. He co-founded the company in 2010 with a simple mission: to modernize and democratize the way applications are developed and deployed to enterprise desktops - and ultimately, the way in which enterprises innovate when it comes to end-user experience. Under Mazy's leadership, the company has received investment backing from major banks and leading VCs including Bain Capital Ventures, Barclays, CME Ventures, DRW Venture Capital, HSBC, In-Q-Tel, J.P. Morgan, NYCA Partners, Pivot Investment Partners, SC Ventures and Wells Fargo.
Prior to OpenFin, Mazy was Chief Strategy Officer at Creditex where he built and ran the company’s innovative electronic businesses. Creditex’s market leadership led to its $625M acquisition by IntercontinentalExchange in 2008. Following the acquisition, Mazy served on ICE’s executive committee. Mazy started his career at UBS as a software programmer. He earned a degree in Computer Science and French Literature from Cornell University.
OpenFin's core mission is to revolutionize the financial industry’s desktops by securely connecting data and content from disparate web applications, such as Factset and Luminex, into a single operating system for financial institutions. OpenFin says it is the OS for enterprise productivity. The firm helps financial companies integrate third-party applications with their, and their client’s internal systems. Its technology is utilized by a variety of financial institutions including buy-side and sell-side firms, banks, and exchanges. The firm has 300,000 users, 2400 institutions, a 3500 app ecosystem, and has powered over 60 billion app minutes.
