Job description

The Operations Associate position is an entry-level middle office role to be a liaison between a number of parties: our clients, traders and other personnel, clearing firm, algo providers and exchanges, and third-party vendors. You will be mainly responsible for post-trade support and ensuring that end of day processing is as smooth and efficient as possible. The hours will be 8:00am to 6:00pm EST and are flexible depending on the needs of the day. We will require one week of in-person training at our NYC office and quarterly visits as necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Process end of day trade allocations across multiple platforms
  • Monitor trade affirmations and resolve trade breaks in a timely manner
  • Trade matching and reconciliation of back office and front office systems
  • International trade support and trade confirmation creation and dissemination
  • Support of our client billing system

Qualifications:

  • Keen attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues before they arise
  • Ability to collaborate and work as part of a team while also being self-sufficient
  • Intuitive and resourceful problem solver that needs minimal guidance
  • Teachable and capable of picking up new systems/topics quickly and easily
  • Effectively communicate and practice good email etiquette
  • Proficient in Excel (advanced functions, macros & VBA)
  • Python, SQL, or any coding skills a plus
