Michael Clements

Michael has over 25 years in institutional investment experience. Twenty of those years are at the Employees Retirement System of Texas (ERS) where he is a Chief Trader. Michael is responsible for developed and emerging market executions as well as foreign exchange and derivative executions. He also tracks trading patterns and recommends ways to improve trading and asset allocation decisions.

Prior to his time with ERS, Michael worked as an Equity Systems and Support Analyst at Van Kampen Investments where he traded across ITG Posit to source stock liquidity, monitored the UITs holding and redemptions, and conducted statistical analysis on explanation of fund performance for fund management staff.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in International Economics from Texas Tech University. He is also a Chartered Market Technician (CMT).
