Brian Frambes

Brian Frambes is co-head of global cash trading at Fidelity Management & Research Company (FMR Co.), the investment advisor for Fidelity’s family of mutual funds. Fidelity Investments is a leading provider of investment management, retirement planning, portfolio guidance, brokerage, benefits outsourcing and other financial products and services to more than 20 million individuals, institutions and financial intermediaries.

In this role, Mr. Frambes co-manages FMR Co.’s global equity sector trading desks, with a focus on the Americas.

Prior to assuming his current position in March 2011, Mr. Frambes held various sector trading roles within the equity trading group. Before joining FMR Co. in 2005, he served as a principal at Trailhead Capital Management LLC., and as director of institutional equity trading at Merrill Lynch & Co. Previously, Mr. Frambes was a vice president at Fidelity Capital Markets. He began his career at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) in 1989.

Mr. Frambes earned his bachelor of arts degree in social sciences from Colorado State University.
