Ben Cohen is the Founder and CEO of T-REX and under whose leadership, the firm’s enterprise data management service and analytics platform are facilitating unprecedented new investment in complex markets.
Prior to founding T-REX, Ben led an international team at Macquarie Bank’s Energy Markets Division. During the 2008 financial crisis, he led an initiative that brought previously unattainable financial stability to the infrastructure sector. Taking these learnings, he founded T-REX in 2012 to unlock liquidity across similarly complex markets.
A structured finance expert, Ben gives market commentary for media outlets including Bloomberg, Fortune, Institutional Investor Journal, Structured Credit Investor, and Asset Securitization Report. He Chairs the Structured Finance Industry Group’s Esoteric Committee and speaks on finance, technology, and renewables at major industry forums. He holds a BA from Yale University.
