Stephen is the CEO and Co-Founder of Genesis, he believed that there had to be a better way to develop, deliver, support and maintain software after spending his career leading both technology and electronic trading teams. The vision of Genesis is to reinvent application development in financial markets, by supercharging developers and replacing the buy vs. build challenge with a buy-to-build paradigm.
Prior to Genesis, Stephen graduated with a 1st in BSc Computer Science and has held senior strategic business & “C-level” technology positions for some of the world’s leading investment banks including Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, HSBC & BTG Pactual. During his career he has lived in New York, São Paulo, Hong Kong & London, where he has been able to experience the diverse cultures around the world as well as the nuances of truly working globally.
